Study First of Its Kind to Track Age Trends in Heroin Deaths

Statistics Point Out That Heroin Deaths are Still on the Rise

heroinThe Centers for Disease Control (CDC) data reveals that while prescription painkiller related deaths are down, heroin deaths are up.  And while the recent CDC data does not specifically show a link between prescription painkillers and heroin, it is suspected that painkiller addicts can and will switch to heroin for a cheaper and easier-to-get high.
